Job Title: Electrical Engineering Specialist
Job Purpose
Provide technical support and guidance for electrical engineering activities during EPC, commissioning, and start-up phases. Ensure systems meet safety, reliability, operability, and maintainability requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support electrical engineering activities including design reviews, commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
  • Review and ensure compliance with engineering standards, specifications, and procedures.
  • Monitor and supervise work performed by contractors, consultants, and vendors.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues impacting system reliability, availability, and cybersecurity.
  • Develop and implement best practices, surveillance programs, and improvement initiatives.
  • Support high-risk commissioning activities and system optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project delivery and operational readiness.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in oil & gas or similar industrial environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in electrical systems and project execution.
Skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of engineering tools and software.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
