Director – Nursing (Critical Care)

Premium Solutions, on behalf of a leading healthcare group in Qatar, is seeking a highly qualified Director – Nursing (Critical Care). This role involves 24-hour accountability for clinical, operational, and budget responsibilities for all nursing services within the allocated functions. The Director will work as a key member of the hospital’s senior nursing management team to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care, optimal patient experience, and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and manage nursing staff within critical care
• Develop and implement strategic plans for clinical services
• Direct resource allocation, performance management, and staff development
• Ensure the quality and safety of patient care and adherence to organizational standards
• Oversee budgeting, financial compliance, and efficiency in service delivery
• Actively participate in research and continuous improvement efforts
Requirements:
Education:
• Master’s Degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field, or an MBA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a 3-year Diploma in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse.
Experience:
• 10+ years of progressive responsibility in the relevant field.
• Nursing Management experience within the relevant specialty area in an acute care hospital.
• Director-level experience within the specialty area.
• Experience managing large budgets.
Certification and Licensure:
• Valid professional nursing license in the country of origin.
• Meets licensing requirements of the State of Qatar.
Professional Membership:
• Member of a professional nursing association (preferred).

• Developmental approach to staff.

• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Arabic speaking and/or bilingual in other languages (preferred).
