Overview ***This position is physically located in Qatar in support of LOGCAP*** This lead position is responsible for operating a Billeting Office, assisting the Billeting Supervisor and Billeting Manager with keeping an accurate count on all keys, filing system of all housing hand receipts, managing housing furnishings, have excellent communication with the housing representatives. Responsibilities This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. + Maintain accurate manning roster and update 50% the billeting data base. + Provide daily information. 10% + Maintain key control and billeting records. 10% + Answer incoming phone calls. 2% + Coordinate with all tenant unit representatives 5% regarding room reservations and issues. + Provide mission support on daily tasks. 5% + Maintain an accurate work order log as well as submitting work orders to the help desk on a daily basis. 5% + Monitor and check all vacant quarters on a daily basis. 3% + Responsible for completing daily tasks 5% + Other duties as assigned. 5% Qualifications + Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. Use the guide below to determine education and experience for this position. + High School or GED required + Associated Degree preferred + Must be able to obtain CAC eligibility + Must be able to obtain a Kuwait Driver's License + Experience: + 5 years experience + College Degree preferred + Skills + Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office software (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). + Interpersonal and communication skills are requirements of this position as there is constant interaction with Army personnel as well as fellow co-workers. + Problem Solving abilities are required to ensure that in case of a supervisor being unavailable they can handle a situation on their own (e.g. run out of linen or space). + Working Conditions: + Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, dusty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in + the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months). Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well. + Physical Requirements: + Light work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 30 pounds of force constantly to move objects. + Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
