Job Opportunity: Construction Lead (Structural) – Oil & Gas / LNG

🔹 Rotation: 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF
🔹 Schedule: 6 Days/Week | 8–10 Hours/Day

🔹 Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Lead (Structural) to oversee the planning, preparation, and execution of all structural fabrication activities for Compression Platform and LQ Topsides.
This role is critical in ensuring safe, high-quality fabrication delivery from yard execution through to loadout, while maintaining full alignment between engineering, company, and contractor teams.
🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Oversee structural fabrication activities from yard execution through load-out
• Ensure full compliance with safety standards and fabrication procedures
• Manage and supervise contractors and subcontractors across all structural scopes
• Ensure delivery of project priorities:
  • ✅ Safety
  • ✅ Quality
  • ✅ Schedule
• Review engineering deliverables to ensure constructability and compliance
• Identify risks and drive corrective actions for progress/quality issues
• Monitor and review:
  • Fabrication progress
  • Contractor reports
  • Critical path activities
• Lead coordination between:
  • Engineering
  • QA/QC
  • Mechanical Completion & Commissioning teams
• Participate in:
  • Risk assessments
  • Pre-job and technical meetings
  • Lessons learned (REX) sessions
• Support resource planning and optimization across fabrication activities

🔹 Requirements
🎓 Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant technical discipline
  (Relevant experience may compensate for formal education)

🛠️ Experience

• Minimum 8+ years in Oil & Gas project execution
• Proven experience in:
  • Structural fabrication (offshore topsides / platforms)
  • EPC project environments
• At least 1 year in a supervisory / leadership role
• Experience working with:
  • Contractors, subcontractors, and heavy fabrication yards

🔧 Technical Expertise

• Strong knowledge of:
  • Structural fabrication processes (welding, lifting, testing, completions)
  • International codes, standards, and specifications
• Experience with:
  • Offshore structures and yard operations
  • Brownfield / greenfield fabrication scopes
• Understanding of:
  • LNG and sour gas project risks
  • Mechanical completion & pre-commissioning phases

• Strong site leadership & contractor management
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder communication
• Ability to manage complex interfaces between company and contractors
• Solid problem-solving & decision-making capability
