Hiring: Construction Area Manager (Process) – LNG Project
Location: Doha, Qatar (Onshore – Ras Laffan Industrial City)
Contract Type: Long-Term Contract
Project: North Field Expansion (NFW On-Plot)
Rotation: 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF
Working Schedule: 6 Days per Week | 8–10 Hours per Day
Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Construction Area Manager (Process) to lead and manage all construction activities related to the assigned EPC process scope for a major LNG project. The successful candidate will oversee construction execution from detailed engineering through site construction and handover to the Completion Team, ensuring adherence to schedule, project milestones, safety, quality, and commissioning readiness.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Manage EPC construction activities for assigned Process scope.
✅ Review and approve construction execution plans, procedures, specifications, and progress reports.
✅ Drive safe and flawless construction execution and seamless transition to pre-commissioning and commissioning.
✅ Identify construction challenges, determine root causes, and implement effective mitigation plans.
✅ Participate in constructability reviews, 3D model reviews, traffic management, and completion reviews.
✅ Lead and guide large construction teams involving 5,000–10,000 site personnel.
✅ Coordinate with EPC Contractors, Joint Venture partners, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
✅ Monitor project progress, schedule compliance, productivity, and quality performance.
✅ Promote knowledge sharing and lessons learned across project teams.
✅ Ensure best-in-class HSE performance throughout project execution.
Qualifications & Experience
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences.
✔ Minimum 12+ years of experience in large-scale Oil & Gas construction projects.
✔ Minimum 3+ years in a Construction Manager, Area Manager, or similar leadership role.
✔ Strong experience managing EPC contractors and subcontractors.
✔ LNG project experience is mandatory.
✔ Proven experience in fabrication, construction, installation, completion, and commissioning support.
✔ Strong knowledge of LNG facilities, sour gas projects, and large greenfield developments.
✔ Experience with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) and Systems Completion Management.
✔ Strong understanding of industry standards, specifications, and safety requirements.
✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
✔ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
