Job description

A computer teacher instructs students on computer literacy and technology skills, encompassing a range of topics from basic computer use to more advanced concepts like programming and web design. They develop and implement curriculum, create lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide guidance on using technology for learning and research.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including knowledge of various software applications, hardware, and networking concepts. 
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 
  • Teaching Experience: Prior experience as a computer teacher or in a related educational role. 
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to students, parents, and colleagues. 
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage lesson plans, classroom resources, and student records. 
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
