Responsible to perform fire systems’ commissioning project activities throughout all the stages and ensuring that the commissioning plan as set by the lead commissioning engineer is carried out systematically and according to contract specifications.
Responsible for performing testing and commissioning activities, and systems handing over for assigned projects and jobs in process as planned by the lead engineer.
Making sure that all the requirements with respect to testing, and commissioning aspects of the projects are fully covered and implemented as per the project requirements.
Reviewing schematic drawings, shop drawings, engineering documents, and calculation sheets, and preparing systems interim reports, final reports (T&C QCDD report) and other necessary documents.
Programming and configuring the fire systems in accordance with systems approved sequence of operations (cause and effect matrix)
Work closely with the FA management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation.
Ensure strict compliance with quality, health and safety and environmental management system
Keep logs and report on daily activities to comply with local authorities.
Follow maintenance/ testing and commissioning procedures and ensure implementation of those procedures through the Commissioning team to comply with local QCDD regulations and international codes and standards.
Ensure work complies with codes, NFPA standards, Regulations & permits.
Ensure strict compliance with quality, health and safety and environmental management system.
Demonstration of fire systems to consultants, authority representatives and end-user (operator)
Develop the engineering team on a day-to-day basis with a focus on technical abilities and enhance them.
UPDA (engineering registration certificate)
QCDD (certified fire engineer)
Fire systems manufacture certification (VESDA, IO, EST3X, EST3 and EST4).
Fire Graphics.
5+ years experience in fire and life safety systems in a commissioning environment.
