About the role



We are recruiting for Aircraft Mechanic - Engine Shop to be based in Doha, Qatar.



Aircraft Mechanic - Engine Facility will ensure to perform all scheduled and unscheduled Engine/APU maintenance tasks including BSI support as per engine facility capability and work scope requirement. Maintain tools, safety, housekeeping as per Company policy and ensure to maintain the highest possible maintenance standards.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Perform all scheduled and unscheduled Engine/APU maintenance tasks, BSI support as per Engine facility capability and work scope requirement and as directed by Engineer/Supervisor.
  • Ensure to be fully conversant with accomplishing the tasks allocated and seek guidance in any area or tasks that is not familiar.
  • Ensure to follow updated maintenance data and get familiar to access company documents related to Engine maintenance.
  • Adhere to all pertinent safety precautions as published in manufacture's and company relevant publications on all tasks in relation to the accomplishment of scheduled, unscheduled engine maintenance tasks.
  • Responsible to maintain allocated tool box as per updated inventory list, ensure return of borrowed tools at the end of shift, all equipment and tools are serviceable, and damaged or unserviceable tools are reported as per applicable TPM procedure.
  • Ensure to report any incident, accidents as earliest to Engineer/Supervisors.
  • Adhere all Engine maintenance related SOPs, tool box talks generated by Engineer/Supervisor.
  • Responsible to always maintain highest housekeeping standards in Engine facility.
  • Provide support in internal and external AOG recovery as allocated by EF Management.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
