Job Purpose:
To identify and collaborate with local, regional, and international stakeholders to promote the mission and vision of the Center; to support Center’s policy research and partnership building work locally and internationally; to develop and support training programs that promote women’s full inclusion in the society.
Key Result Areas:
- Contribute to enhancing partnerships framework and strategy for the Center and support engagement with partners to identify areas of collaboration and yearly activations.
- Assist the Policy and Partnerships Manager with the development of policy framework and enhance the policy agenda of the Center.
- Identify local and regional key policy stakeholders and supports the Policy and Partnerships Manager in engaging with the stakeholders.
- Support Policy and Partnerships Manager in designing and delivering training programs promoting participation and representation of women in education, workforce, society, and other key areas of representation.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, including desk research and field work. Collect data for the monitoring and evaluation plan to track performance of policy, partnerships and capacity building programs that align within the overall impact framework of the Center.
- Assist the Policy and Partnerships Manager in creating and authoring annual impact reports to highlight work of the Center.
- Coordinate and participate in collaborative research projects on women’s religious education, leadership, economic and social development from the concept stage to proposal writing, research, publication, and dissemination of findings.
- Contribute to the research profile of the Center by literature review, conducting research, and publishing data-informed public facing research on the Center’s platforms.
- Work with designers and communications team on preparation of reports, presentations, and other project communication pieces.
- Work with the Policy and Partnerships Manager and Research Manager to create and activate the Center’s internationalization strategy.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Gender or Women studies, Islamic Studies, Political Science, Marketing and Communications, International Relations etc.
- 6-8 years of relevant full-time work experience, 2 of which at a supervisory level.
- Experience developing and implementing multiple projects
- Experience in policy research and analysis.
- Experience in advocacy or marketing education initiatives preferred.
- Experience working in a start-up setting where multiple hats are worn.
- Experience and track-record of building effective collaborative programs across multiple institutions.
- Experience engaging with Muslim women and Muslim religious/spiritual/educational programming.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely, Arabic proficiency is required.
- Ability to engage in iterative and co-constructed strategical conversations.
- Ability to work dynamically and collegially with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders and women in the local and regional community.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, with enthusiasm and motivation to facilitate the growth of the Center.
- Ability to make decisions and take responsibility.
- Proficiency in MS Office and graphic designing tools
