Could you be the full-time Senior Work Package Controller in Warsaw we are looking for?

Your future role

As a Senior Work Package Controller, you will play a key role within our Finance team, partnering closely with Work Package Owners to ensure accurate financial management, forecasting, and reporting across projects. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, project‑based environment where analytical strength, collaboration, and adaptability are essential.
We'll look to you for:
  • Conducting financial control and analysis of work packages within projects and supporting Work Package Owners.
  • Performing cost analysis in close cooperation with Budget Owners.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional project teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Supporting monthly financial closing processes.
  • Contributing to annual and project-level budgeting.
  • Participating in short- and long‑term financial forecasting, including hedging activities.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Master’s degree from a business school, engineering school, or equivalent university.
  • Background or understanding in Project Controlling, Costing, Corporate Finance, or auditing (advantage).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • A collaborative mindset and strong team‑working abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills.
  • Solid analytical and presentation skills.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a changing environment.

Things you’ll enjoy
Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines.
  • Work with cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions for rail systems.
  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues.
  • Contribute to innovative projects with a tangible impact on sustainable mobility.
  • Utilise our flexible and inclusive working environment.
  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries.
  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning opportunities.
  • Progress towards senior project management or leadership roles.
  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical).

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
