(fluent Ukrainian) Middle Full-Stack Web Engineer (Node.js/Vue)

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Web Engineer for a Ukrainian product IT company that has been specializing in developing desktop applications for macOS and iOS. This company has 15 released products that make it easy for users to share and convert files, find, download, and convert music or videos, download copyright-free images, or, for example, free up RAM to improve computer performance.

As a Full-Stack Web Engineer you'll take ownership of the company’s website and help us build new functionality around trials, checkout flows, and product launches. You will inherit the current architecture and continue improving it while working closely with product and marketing to ship new features quickly.

Technical Stack:

• Frontend — SvelteKit, Vue.js, TailwindCSS;
• Backend — Node.js, Go, PHP;
• Infrastructure — Docker, S3, Cloudflare.

What you will do:

• Maintain and develop the main website;
• Gain a deep understanding of the current website architecture and functionality;
• Build new functionality related to trials, licensing, and checkout flows;
• Work with marketing to launch landing pages and product campaigns;
• Set up and maintain pre-designed web assets such as banners and pop-ups;
• Support email marketing infrastructure including Sendy and MailChimp configuration;
• Help migrate marketing automations from MailChimp to Sendy over time;
• Improve website performance and page load speed;
• Maintain and improve the quality of the codebase;
• Contribute to other web projects within the company;
• Propose improvements to the architecture when needed;
• Refactor legacy code where it improves stability or performance;
• Develop new features while maintaining the stability of the platform.

What you need to succeed in this role:

• 2+ years of experience in a Full Stack Developer role or similar positions;
• Proficiency in developing web applications with modern JavaScript frameworks such as SvelteKit or Vue.js;
• Strong skills in TypeScript and VanillaJS;
• Extensive knowledge of Node.js for server-side programming;
• English proficiency at B1+ level (for reading documentation and written communication);
• Experience with S3 buckets or similar systems;
• Experience working with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis;
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs;
• Solid understanding of front-end optimization techniques and the web rendering process;
• Experience with Docker and Docker-compose for containerization and deployment;
• Advanced skills in front-end development using Tailwind CSS;
• Strong understanding of application architecture and software design principles;
• Ability to collaborate closely with product and marketing teams on website improvements and experiments;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Ability to clearly communicate technical topics with both technical and non-technical teammates.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with Go and/or PHP as server-side languages, including proficiency with PHP versions 5.2 and 7 or higher;
• Hands-on experience with React or similar frameworks;
• Proven experience integrating payment solutions (FastSpring, Stripe, Paddle);
• Background in conversion rate optimization (CRO) and A/B testing;
• Experience building or supporting checkout, trial, subscription, or paywall flow;
• Experience supporting high-traffic marketing or product-driven platforms;
• Track record of launching independent projects end-to-end;
• Experience with BaaS platforms (Directus, Supabase, Firebase, etc.);
• Experience integrating with the Cloudflare API.
