We are looking for a strategic Regional SEO Manager to join our global team. This is a unique role with a global remit: you will be the central architect of our local search strategy, responsible for empowering and coordinating with our Local Marketing Managers across the globe to drive hyper-local visibility. The Regional SEO Manager will bridge the gap between global SEO standards and regional execution. You will be responsible for researching market-specific trends and providing the technical and content roadmaps that local teams need to obtain high-ranking placements in regional search results. To be successful, you must be a master of stakeholder management, capable of working cross-functionally to encourage the adoption of SEO best practices across diverse cultural and linguistic markets. You will provide the technical insight and strategic framework that enables our local teams to generate leads and drive growth within their specific territories.

Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement localized SEO strategies that align with global business goals while catering to the specific needs of regional markets.
  • Act as the primary SEO lead and consultant for Local Marketing Managers, providing them with actionable insights, keyword research, and tactical guidance to execute local search initiatives.
  • Perform deep-dive keyword research and analysis to identify regional search trends and intent opportunities unique to specific countries or languages.
  • Provide localized optimization frameworks and technical requirements (meta titles, headers, translation etc.) for local teams to implement across regional subdomains.
  • Design and manage a high-impact local backlink framework, securing authoritative regional placements and fostering long-term strategic partnerships to increase local search authority.
  • Deploy localized reputation management strategies to improve search rankings and brand sentiment across different geographic regions.
  • Monitor and track local SEO performance across all regions using analytics tools, providing global-level reporting and insights on regional progress.
  • Collaborate with web developers and content creators to ensure website design and localized content are fully optimized for regional search engines.
  • Manage allocated budgets for local SEO initiatives, oversee vendor relationships and performance, and ensure timely processing of payments and financial documentation across regions.
  • Stay up-to-date with local search algorithm updates and industry trends, regularly training local marketing and content teams on evolving best practices.

Requirements


  • 5-8 years of proven achievement in Global SEO, specifically managing local search performance for a large B2C audience across multiple international markets.
  • Exceptional ability to coordinate with cross-functional and decentralized teams (specifically Local Marketing Managers) to drive execution.
  • English business level proficiency or above; Mandarin business level or above is a strong plus to interface with Mandarin-speaking technical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of or interest in the blockchain/cryptocurrency industry.
  • In-depth experience with website analytics and data visualization tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker, and Excel/Google Sheets).Experience with enterprise SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Semrush, BrightLocal) and managing SEO within popular CMS environments.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments to drive conversion and growth.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and how they impact localized search crawling.
  • Deep understanding of ranking factors and search engine algorithms across different regions (e.g., Google, Yandex, Naver).
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and ASO.
