Description Position at SEI (Philippines) Incorporated
SEI (Philippines) Incorporated is looking for a motivated Cutting Tools Sales Engineer on a regular (full-time) basis to provide technical support, product training, and market coordination with our affiliated companies in Japan and Singapore through an authorized distributor.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare quotations, cost comparisons, and technical proposals, and recommend suitable cutting tools.
  • Provide product knowledge and technical support, including cutting parameters and troubleshooting machining issues.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and distributors, and visit them regularly to understand their needs.
  • Coordinate with SHAP and factory teams on technical matters, special tools, pricing, and delivery.
  • Monitor orders and deliveries, and resolve any supply or logistics issues.
  • Attend and lead customer meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
  • Support marketing activities such as exhibitions, seminars, and product demonstrations.
  • Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering
  • Background or hands-on knowledge in CNC machining and cutting tool applications (mandatory)
  • Experience in Sales and Marketing
  • Excellent communications, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills
  • Strong command of the English language both written and spoken
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (especially Excel), email, and reporting tools
  • Demonstrates a results-driven sales mindset with the ability to meet or exceed targets
  • Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team
  • Comfortable working in workshop and industrial environments
  • Hands-on, practical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Physically fit and willing to perform fieldwork and customer visit sites visits
  • Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple priorities/tasks
  • Must be based in or willing to work within the National Capital Region (NCR)
  • Open to single or married applicants
  • 28 to 35 years of age
