How will you make an impact in this role?
The Compensation and Benefits Specialist will be part of the Colleague Total Rewards and Wellbeing (CTRW) team within the Colleague Experience Group (CEG), Philippines. This role will lead the support and implementation of Compensation & Benefits (C&B) strategies, oversee the ongoing management of C&B programs, and build strong vendor partnerships. The position reports to the Manager – Compensation & Benefits.

Responsibilities:
  • Support, partner, and take accountability for reviewing, enhancing, and implementing total rewards priorities in the market, ensuring compliance with all associated programs.


  • Provide expert Compensation & Benefits guidance to the wider Colleague Experience Group, colleagues and leaders, and facilitate C&B education sessions for internal teams.


  • Deliver compensation framework support, including, reviewing and advising on compensation offers for new hires and internal movements, maintaining and reviewing pay ranges and supporting year-end compensation processes


  • Conduct compensation and benefits benchmarking to ensure market competitiveness.


  • Drive colleague engagement and participation in benefits programs through effective and well-structured communication strategies.


  • Participate in regional and global initiatives and C&B projects.


  • Support vendor management activities, ensuring governance standards and requirements are met.


  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, as well as American Express protocols, policies, and procedures.


  • Partner with Compensation & Benefits Operations, Medical teams, broader CEG teams, and Business Partners to ensure seamless execution and delivery of C&B programs.



Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Compensation & Benefits


  • Strong analytical, data-driven, and problem-solving capabilities, with project management experience (required)


  • Bachelor’s degree (required)


  • Experience working with an HR consulting firm (preferred)


  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder influencing skills


  • Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders, including senior leaders


  • High level of accountability, ownership, and integrity



Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience working with an HR consulting firm (preferred)
