Job description

What You'll Gain Real ownership of design work shipped to production — not just spec documents.
Mentorship from senior designers with experience across top product organizations.
Exposure to the full product development lifecycle, from discovery to delivery.
A stronger portfolio of real-world design work upon completion of the internship.
Potential for a full-time offer based on performance.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in designing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI mockups across web and mobile platforms.
Translate requirements into clean, consistent user interfaces aligned with the design system.
Apply design tokens and variables to maintain visual consistency across components.
Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and real users.
Participate actively in design critiques, sharing work and incorporating constructive feedback.
Support the team in day-to-day design tasks and contribute to ongoing projects.
Requirements: Must-Have Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Computer Science, Interaction Design, HCI, or an equivalent field.
At least 6 months of hands-on experience in UI/UX design, through internships, freelance work, or personal projects.
A basic portfolio showcasing design thinking, visual skills, and an eye for usability and aesthetics — student or personal projects are welcome.
Basic understanding of design systems, variables, and tokens and how they contribute to consistent, scalable design.
Familiarity with AI design tools and an understanding of how to apply them practically in a design workflow.
Proficiency in Figma or an equivalent design tool.
Open to feedback, eager to grow, and willing to learn from every critique and collaboration.
Good to Have Experience with CMS platforms (e.
g. Webflow, Framer, WordPress) for design and development.
A design certification from recognised programmes such as Google UX Design, Interaction Design Foundation, or similar.
Exposure to front-end technologies (HTML, CSS) — an appreciation for how design translates to code is a plus.
What We're Looking For Beyond skills and tools, we care deeply about attitude and mindset.
The ideal candidate: Approaches design problems with curiosity — you ask "why" before jumping to "how".
Welcomes feedback openly and sees critique as a tool for growth, not criticism.
Has a sharp eye for aesthetics, usability, and the small details that elevate an experience.
Communicates their design decisions clearly and with confidence.
Shows a genuine enthusiasm for design and a drive to keep improving.
