Trainee Physiotherapist programme at AKUH is unique in a sense that it helps to equip fresh graduates for initiating and establishing their careers in Physiotherapy. The one year programme offers didactics and hands on physical therapy experience in the areas like Pain management, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Pediatric Rehabilitation, Obs/Gyne Rehabilitation, ICU, CICU, CCU and Advance Rehabilitation etc.

  • consulting and collaborating with consulting Physicians and other medical professionals in providing physiotherapy treatments.
  • providing quality physiotherapy treatment to the highest possible levels.
  • educating patients and their families about treatment interventions and home exercises.
  • complying with organizational policies and standards of quality care.

Requirements:


You should have:


  • a BSc. degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy with minimum CGPA of 3.5 or 80% marks
  • good interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills
  • good command in the use of computer applications, particularly MS Office
  • willingness to work independently as well as in teams and handle work pressure.

  • Full-time employment may be offered upon successful completion of the traineeship programme and availability of the vacant position.
