Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business and system requirements through collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Assess intake requests and evaluate solution feasibility in alignment with business and IT strategic objectives.
- Analyze existing systems, workflows, and processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with solution, enterprise, and application architects to address technical dependencies and ensure architectural alignment.
- Support solution design by working closely with development and solution engineering teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Facilitate discussions with diverse stakeholder groups, challenge assumptions, and drive clarity in ambiguous situations.
- Collaborate with QA teams to support testing, validation, and defect resolution.
- Support implementation, operational readiness, and post-deployment activities, including training and troubleshooting.
- Ensure operational partners are informed and prepared to support changes in the environment.
- Produce and maintain clear, high-quality documentation, including requirements, system specifications, process flows, and user materials.
Required Qualifications
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
- Proven ability to analyze complex business problems and systems and recommend effective solutions.
- Experience balancing strategic (top-down) and detailed (bottom-up) analysis.
- Ability to apply appropriate methods, tools, and techniques to solve problems ranging from strategic to tactical.
Communication & Collaboration
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate discussions and influence cross-functional teams toward aligned outcomes.
- Ability to translate complex technical and business concepts into clear, consumable deliverables.
Technical & Domain Experience
- Experience using SQL and/or Postgres for data analysis and system integration.
- Knowledge of Pega for workflow automation and business process management.
- Healthcare industry experience or knowledge of healthcare business capabilities is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to methodologies such as Agile, RUP, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks is a plus.
Professional Skills & Tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Visio.
- Ability to produce concise, well-structured documentation.
- Comfortable working under pressure, managing ambiguity, and driving work toward defined outcomes.
