We are looking for a System Administrator who will serves as a liaison between the Response Center and the Network Operations Center.
Proactively seeks out and resolves issues within the client systems and networks, as well as responding to issues that may arise, ensuring stability, security and productivity for our clients.
Position Responsibilities: Managing and responding to alerts across client systems and networks, with a focus on a specific assigned Pod.
Support service delivery by communicating upcoming changes that will impact client environments.
Complete communication loop by bringing consistent or repetitive troubles back to the NOC for systemic resolution and deployment back to client environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve backup issues.
Perform initial research to aid in root-cause analysis.
Configure client systems according to established standards.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of tools, processes, and client environments.
Track and document daily work tasks and issues Effective communication with customers and/or internal groups Providing the highest level of customer satisfaction possible Other related duties as assigned Five or more years of IT LAN administration experience or related coursework in a Windows environment Significant experience with Windows Server 2016/2022 Significant experience with Azure and hosted Microsoft Exchange environments High comfort level with standard Active Directory Administration Fundamentals of network technology including, but not limited to, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and SMTP Basic understanding of routing, switching, firewall and VPN access technologies.
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions and to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions, Bachelors Degree in a related field from an accredited university or college.
Familiarity with remote access environments such as Citrix and/or terminal services
