About the Role:



We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with expertise in SACS/Stadd software to support the design and analysis of offshore/Onshore structures for leading Oil & Gas clients . The role involves working on complex engineering projects, including fixed platforms, jackets, topsides, and subsea structures.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Perform structural analysis and design of offshore platforms, jackets, topsides, and subsea structures using SACS/Stadd.
  • Conduct in-place, fatigue, seismic, and accidental load assessments in compliance with industry standards (API, DNV, ISO, ABS).
  • Develop design calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
  • Provide structural engineering input during feasibility studies, FEED, detailed engineering, and brownfield modifications.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including piping, mechanical, and naval architects, to ensure integration of structural design.
  • Review client specifications, project scopes, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct load-out, transportation, and installation analyses for offshore structures.
  • Perform structural integrity assessments for aging assets and recommend reinforcement or decommissioning strategies.
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and HAZID/HAZOP workshops.
  • Support proposal development, cost estimates, and technical bid evaluations.

Qualifications & Experience:




  • Bachelor鈥檚 or Master鈥檚 degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • 12+ years of experience in offshore structural engineering, with at least 8 years using SACS/Stadd.
  • Strong understanding of API RP 2A, DNVGL-ST-0126, ISO 19902, ABS rules, and other offshore design standards.
  • Experience with linear and nonlinear analysis, fatigue analysis, and dynamic response studies.
  • Knowledge of wind, wave, and current load assessments for offshore structures.
  • Familiarity with installation methodologies, marine operations, and decommissioning strategies.
  • Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, ABAQUS, ANSYS, or FEMAP is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to coordinate with clients and project teams.
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and review their work.

Preferred Experience:




  • Experience in offshore brownfield modifications.
  • Background in FPSO topside module design and floatover installations.
  • Exposure to wind turbine foundation design for offshore wind projects.
