Job Title: Site Safety Drafter Location: Remote work Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Site Safety Drafter to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and compliant site safety plans in accordance with the New York City Building Code .
This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (preferred) and a strong understanding of construction safety regulations .
Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed site safety plans that comply with NYC Building Code and Local Law 81 of 2017.
Interpret and apply site safety supervision requirements for construction projects.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and safety managers to ensure compliance with city regulations.
Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to draft site safety plans, including fire safety, emergency exits, and hazard mitigation strategies .
Conduct site assessments to identify potential safety risks and propose solutions.
Maintain documentation and records for regulatory compliance and project approvals.
Stay updated on NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
3+ years of experience in drafting site safety plans for construction projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (preferred).
Strong knowledge of NYC Building Code, Local Law 81, and site safety supervision requirements.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with project teams and regulatory agencies.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
