The role


We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer - Local Area Development to join our team for one of our Hydropower Projects based in KPK. This role requires a dedicated professional with a solid foundation in civil engineering and extensive experience in supervising local area development projects, particularly in the hydropower sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.


  • Supervise and monitor all on-site construction activities related to local area development works.
  • Ensure construction complies with design specifications, technical drawings, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient execution of tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards.
  • Prepare progress reports, site logs, and other documentation as required.
  • Address technical issues promptly and provide solutions to on-site challenges.

With a track record of achievement in a related role, you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.


Suitable applicants will have/be:


  • Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline (e.g. B.Sc/BE in Civil Engineering) or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in supervising construction projects, preferably in hydropower or local area development.
  • Sound communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
