As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products that meet and exceed customer needs. Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.
Minimum Qualifications:
As a System Engineer, you will be part of a high‑impact team building next‑generation camera and imaging solutions. You’ll work on embedded camera systems, image signal processors (ISP), advanced 3A algorithms—Auto Exposure (AE), Auto Focus (AF), and Auto White Balance (AWB)—as well as Computer Vision and image‑processing solutions. This role also involves close integration with complementary technologies such as motion sensors, video encoders, DSPs, GPUs, and display subsystems.
Key Responsibilities
Design camera and image‑processing pipelines, 3A algorithms, and end‑to‑end imaging features for mobile devices and adjacent business units
Design, prototype, and evaluate algorithms intended for hardware implementation
Implement and optimize algorithms on target hardware to meet performance, power, and quality goals
Analyze, enhance, and refine existing algorithms to deliver an improved user experience
Develop and optimize Computer Vision (CV) and Machine Learning (ML) features for advanced imaging use cases
Who Should Apply
1–8 years of relevant experience
B.Tech / M.Tech / Ph.D (Premium Institutes preferred)
Strong C/C++ programming and problem-solving skills
Background in Image Processing / Computer Vision / Signal Processing
