Qualcomm is a world leader in 4G/5G technology and our team is actively seeking engineers at various levels to work on 5G NR PHY layer testing.
Acumen to read and understand the 3GPP spec and come up with innovative test design and methodologies using industry standard equipment.
Should have good 3GPP spec understanding, L1/L2 test experienceand should be innovative to expand the horizon of testing 5G L1/L2
Programming skills in Python/C/C++/ MATLAB is a plus.
Candidate will be responsible for timely delivery of 5G L1 commercialized L1 products.
Excellent communications skills are required to interact with multi-disciplinary teams spread across multiple Geos.
Minimum Qualifications:
3-5 years of Integration/Test experience on one or more of following radio access technologies – 5G with focus on MAC, PHY testing.
Strong fundamentals in the following domains: Wireless communications, Digital Signal Processing, Information & Coding Theory.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to clearly organize and articulate the information.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in design and development of 5G L1 PHY testing scenarios or 5G L2 testing scenarios is preferable.
Education Requirements
• Master’s/Bachelor degree in Electrical / Electronic communication Engineering
