What You'll Do 


As a Senior Staff Content Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in optimizing and maintaining our Component Content Management System (CCMS) to support the company's complex content architecture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions, improve content reuse, and ensure content consistency across our platforms. Success in this role means enhancing content delivery efficiency and ensuring our CCMS aligns with content strategy and technical standards. 


Who You'll Work With 


You'll be embedded within a collaborative team, working closely with technical content strategists, developers, and IT specialists. You'll serve as a key technical resource, partnering with stakeholders across product, engineering, and content teams. Together, you will support a robust CCMS ecosystem that scales with our content needs, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams and platforms. This role reports to the Director of Content Design and Technical Content Strategy. 


What Makes You a Qualified Candidate 


  • 8+ years of experience in content engineering, content management, or a related field, with a focus on structured content 
  • Expertise in implementing, supporting, and optimizing Component Content Management Systems (e.g., Ixiasoft, SDL Tridion Docs, Paligo, or easyDITA) 
  • Proficiency in structured content standards, such as XML, DITA, and taxonomy management 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing content workflows and improving content reuse 
  • Excellent project management abilities with a track record of delivering scalable content solutions 

What You'll Bring 


  • Advanced knowledge of content modeling, content architecture, and metadata management 
  • Experience integrating CCMS with other enterprise systems (e.g., CMS, DAM, and PIM systems) 
  • Familiarity with API-driven architectures and RESTful APIs for content delivery 
  • Proficiency with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for CCMS customization and automation 
  • Experience conducting content audits and implementing content governance practices 
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to content rendering and component management 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and functions 
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams 
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus 
  • Commitment to best practices in content engineering, accessibility, and scalability
