• Perform the duties of the RE on site in accordance with the construction contract. This will include inter alia, review and approval of Contractor’s submittals, manage Contractor’s works at site through a team of Work Inspectors, scrutinize the bills of the Contractors and recommend payments, maintain documents and recommend issue of Work Completion Certificate
• Management and direction of a team Engineers and Inspectors for the supervision of works
• Acts as prime point of contact with the Project Manager and Contractor for the works supervision of the project, including progress reporting, safety, financial recommendations and quality control
• Establishes an appropriate working relationship with the contractors
• Places an emphasis on safe work practices (Target Zero) and on maintaining a high quality of works, and leads by example in driving safe practices on site
• Monitors progress of works against the program, and takes steps to ensure the program is achieved
• Ensures that the project quality control procedures are used for the supervision works and monitors it for improvement. Actively participates with audits required in accordance with the contract requirements and company internal systems
• Qualification and Experience – Engineering degree / diploma with minimum 20 years of experience in construction projects

Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs Workplace on a full-time basis, as required by the nature of their role.
