Job description

We are looking for an experienced Red Hat OpenShift Administrator with 5–8 years of hands-on experience to manage and enhance our enterprise IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), OpenShift cluster administration, and strong exposure to virtualization, storage, and backup systems.




Responsibilities



  • Administer, monitor, and optimize Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments across production and non-production systems.
  • Lead the deployment, management, and troubleshooting of Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
  • Manage and maintain virtualized environments to ensure performance, scalability, and availability.
  • Oversee enterprise storage solutions, ensuring efficient utilization and reliability.
  • Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery systems, ensuring data protection and compliance.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure system security, patching, and compliance with industry best practices.
  • Automate routine administrative tasks where applicable.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, network, and application teams for seamless system integration and deployments.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members..

Requirements



  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in Linux system administration.
  • Strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  • Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift cluster administration.
  • Solid knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM, or similar).
  • Experience with enterprise storage systems.
  • Proven experience with backup and recovery solutions.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification.
  • Red Hat OpenShift certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience in large-scale or enterprise infrastructure environments.
