QA & Testing Lead Analyst - HIH - Evernorth


Role Overview


The QA & Testing Lead Analyst provides expert content and professional leadership on complex Quality Assurance (QA) assignments and projects. This role is responsible for consulting with project teams and client areas to ensure the successful development and implementation of effective computer systems applications. The Lead Analyst works across multiple computing environments, including host-based, distributed systems, and client-server platforms.


Key Responsibilities


  • Consults with client and IT management, as well as staff, throughout the project life cycle to support the design, development, and implementation of effective systems.


  • Provides guidance in creating standard test environments, test plans, and test scripts to ensure robust testing processes.


  • Prepares and conducts acceptance testing for new or modified applications and systems, ensuring they meet required standards.


  • Analyzes and designs new or modified QA procedures and standards and assists in the development and implementation of QA metrics to assess the quality of delivered application software.


  • Modifies automated testing systems as needed to accommodate procedural or standard changes.


  • Participates in the review of new QA software and collaborates with IT staff and client areas to resolve questions that arise during the testing process.


  • Works with client and IT management and staff to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology across projects.


Expertise and Leadership


The QA & Testing Lead Analyst brings 6-9 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance and Testing, exercising considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering complex QA initiatives. Leveraging deep professional knowledge and acumen, the Lead Analyst provides guidance to functional leaders and is recognized internally as a subject matter expert in Quality Assurance and Testing. While the primary focus is on QA & Testing, the Lead Analyst also contributes to broader projects that require an understanding of the wider business context.
