As a Software Development Manager: Cloud, you will be responsible for the operations management of Software Development, including revenue, expense control, and profit performance. You will also oversee the management of processes such as IPD, quality assurance, business controls, and procedures. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Develop and Administer Budgets: Develop and administer development expense and support (cost) budgets, ensuring effective financial management and budget attainment. * Manage Client Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through effective deployment and ratings, and plan administration. * Lead Multi-Cloud Environments: Show expertise in multi-cloud environments, including public, private, and hybrid, as well as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS). * Drive Open Source Contributions: Contribute to open source software, working effectively with open source communities to support IBM's needs and drive community best practices in IBM processes. * Oversee Operational Activities: Apply in-depth operational and administrative knowledge to day-to-day activities, ensuring satisfactory audits and compliance with business controls and procedures.
* Deep Expertise in Cloud Environments: Proven experience with multi-cloud environments, including public, private, and hybrid, as well as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS). * Advanced Knowledge of Cloud Technologies: In-depth understanding of concepts around Software Defined Networks (SDN), Network Resiliency, Container Applications using Kubernetes, and Content Delivery on platforms such as IBM Cloud, PowerVS, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. * Experience with Open Source Projects: Demonstrated experience contributing to open source software, working effectively with open source communities, and driving community best practices in IBM processes. * Operational Management Expertise: Proven ability to apply in-depth operational and administrative knowledge to day-to-day activities, ensuring satisfactory audits and compliance with business controls and procedures. * Financial Management Acumen: Experience developing and administering development expense and support (cost) budgets, ensuring effective financial management and budget attainment.
* Expertise in Open Source Contributions: Experience contributing to open source projects such as Kubernetes, Operators, and influencing the community to support IBM needs. * Knowledge of Cloud Development Platforms: Familiarity with development on platforms such as IBM Cloud, PowerVS, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. * Community Best Practices Leadership: Experience driving community best practices in IBM processes, working effectively with open source communities.
