The GSK Graduate Programme offers a unique opportunity to join our Global Supply Chain and play a key role in delivering life‑saving medicines and vaccines to people in over 90% of the world.

Within Global Supply Chain (GSC), Production graduates will be embedded at our manufacturing sites working directly on the operational delivery of products. Our teams manage the full manufacturing lifecycle — from raw material handling, batch production and filling to packing, labelling and dispatch — with safety, quality and efficiency at the core. This programme is ideal if you want hands‑on experience operating modern pharmaceutical production and packaging equipment while learning to manage complex, regulated processes powered by data and continuous improvement.

Ahead together with tailored training and career development

Whilst on the graduate programme, you can expect the following benefits:

  • Challenging and supportive environment for your professional and personal growth
  • Opportunities to network and enhance visibility with senior leaders who will mentor, coach and support you with career planning
  • Development of technical skills through valuable on‑the‑job experience in manufacturing and packaging operations
  • Work in roles individually tailored according to your discipline, strengths and aspirations (and the needs of the business)
  • Access to a generous personal development budget to accelerate learning and professional growth
  • Kaizens – short‑term breadth projects that offer potential international exposure

What will you do?

  • Learn and operate manufacturing and packing lines, including batch execution, changeovers and line optimisations
  • Support aseptic/sterile and non‑sterile production activities as applicable to the site, adhering to GMP and safety procedures
  • Perform in‑process checks, support machine set‑up, and carry out basic troubleshooting to maintain production flow
  • Assist with packing operations: labelling, secondary packaging, serialization, and final inspection controls
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and batch records in line with regulatory requirements
  • Support handovers, shift operations and coordination with Quality, Technical Services, Engineering and Supply Chain teams
  • Participate in root‑cause investigations, CAPA activities and deviation management when required
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, efficiency initiatives and equipment reliability projects (lean, Six Sigma, TPM)
  • Learn about equipment cleaning (CIP/SIP), preventative maintenance routines and calibration activities

What are we looking for?

  • Technical aptitude, a passion for operational excellence and a keen interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing and packing
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement, safety and quality, with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills; comfortable working in multi‑disciplinary shifts and cross‑functional teams
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to follow structured processes in a regulated environment
  • Self‑motivation, proactiveness and eagerness for hands‑on development and learning on the shop‑floor
  • Adaptability and resilience — able to perform effectively under pressure and embrace change in a fast‑moving manufacturing setting

This programme is ideal for highly motivated individuals who are eager to build their careers in a complex manufacturing environment. Candidates should naturally embody GSK culture and demonstrate the potential to become future production leaders and subject matter experts.

What do we offer you?

  • On‑the‑job experience in world‑class manufacturing and packaging environments
  • Formal and informal technical and soft‑skills training, delivered through coaching and mentoring by senior leaders, managers and peers, with a mix of virtual and in‑person courses
  • A competitive salary and an annual bonus based on company performance
  • Relocation support (subject to eligibility)
  • Employee recognition programmes and wellbeing initiatives
  • Access to healthcare plans and options
  • Generous time off with pay, including end‑of‑year company shutdown
  • 2 volunteering days per year (“Together Days”)
