Job description

Mechanical Engineer’s with hands-on experience in end-to-end product design and development, specifically in plastic components and products.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and develop plastic components and assemblies from concept to production
  • Create 3D models, detailed drawings, and specifications using CAD tools
  • Work closely with tooling, manufacturing, and quality teams
  • Develop and optimize designs for injection molding and other plastic processes
  • Conduct feasibility studies, design validation, and testing
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and cost targets

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 8+ years of experience in product design & development (plastics preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of plastic materials and injection molding processes
  • Proficiency in CAD software’s (Creo, UG NX, Ansys (basics) etc.)
  • Experience with DFMEA, DFM, DFA & Tolerance Analysis.
  • Good analytical and communication skills

Preferred:


  • Experience in Mold design
  • Exposure to simulation/analysis tools
