We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Processor Client onboarding and Account Opening.



In this role, you will:



  • Review customer profiles to identify possible patterns of money laundering and terrorist financing activity, ensuring compliance with applicable internal policies and procedures and external regulations;
  • Review and analyze suspicious/unusual patterns of activity utilizing various internal systems, reports and external data sources.
  • Contact clients to complete follow-up to plug the gaps in Know Your Customer requirements
  • Conclude whether further investigation is warranted based on a reasonable assessment of information obtained;
  • Adhere strictly to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with Company and regulatory standards, policies and practices; report control weaknesses, compliance breaches and operational loss events;
  • Follow appropriate escalation matrix and proactively highlight questionable profiles based on logical reasoning against text-book approach towards procedures;
  • Provide a supporting role to on-shore business partners. Assist in reviewing alerts and provide support on all Anti Money Laundering and Know Your Customer monitoring functions performed by Global Customer Due Diligence.
  • Work on short-term projects/assignments with primary focus on quality.  

To be successful you will:



  • A Bachelor’s degree in any stream
  • Good Communication skills – Written and Verbal
  • Ability to meet committed deadlines to remediate the assigned customer portfolio in line with the agreed book of work (BOW) in a challenging environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving and changing priorities. Procedures change frequently; selected candidates are expected to implement the changes immediately with minimal re-training.
  • Ability to identify gaps in the process and recommend changes to streamline the process
  • Is self-motivated to achieve quality and production targets in line with the department/individual goals
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel – Ability to create reports and interpret data.Ability to adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
