We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Processor Cash Payments and Reconcilliations



In this role, you will:



  • Experienced in Banking & related portfolio accounting & reconciliations.
  • Responsible for all Service Delivery deliverables in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure compliance with HSBC standards and Statutory requirements.
  • Has fair understanding of accounting principles and demonstrated competence in their application

To be successful you will:



  • Prepare account reconciliations in accordance with Finance Instruction Manual (FIM) and applicable SOX requirements. Ensure completeness of assigned accounts within the required deadline.  Process journal entries as appropriate for booking of charges and interests.
  • Review source system for accuracy/completeness and ensure open reconciling items are researched in a timely manner and escalated as appropriate. 
  • Rigorously follow up with departments for the settlement of un-reconciled transactions to keep the aging under control and escalate as per chaser or escalation matrix.
  • Recognize and identify trends on related outstanding items and expedite issues to management.
  • Maintain and manage Reconciliation detail confidentially due to the nature of activity being reconciled..
  • Continue rigor around Client Money/CASS requirements and return client money within the timeframe.              
  • Expert in Excel (especially V-lookup, H-lookup, etc.)
  • Flexible in shift timings and all days of the week with rotational week off days. Prior Experience in Banking Reconciliation is preferred.
  • B. Com/M. Com/MBA (Finance) with 0 - 5 years of experience
