Job Overview:


CureMD is seeking a visionary Principal DevOps Engineer to lead the architecture and strategy of our DevOps infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the overall direction of our CI/CD processes, automation frameworks, and infrastructure provisioning across a large-scale, mission-critical environment. You will work closely with senior leadership to set DevOps best practices and drive innovation that enhances the performance, reliability, and scalability of CureMD's systems


Job Responsibilities:


  • Lead the architectural design and implementation of enterprise-scale DevOps solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and system requirements.
  • Define and execute the strategic roadmap for CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices across all environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, operations, and security, to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
  • Lead the automation of infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and monitoring processes using advanced tools (Azure, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).
  • Establish and enforce best practices for system performance, monitoring, and security.
  • Act as the primary technical advisor for complex system issues, providing leadership during critical incidents and post-mortem reviews.
  • Drive innovation through continuous improvement initiatives and emerging DevOps tools and methodologies.
  • Mentor and guide senior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, with extensive hands-on expertise in infrastructure management, automation, and cloud architecture.
  • Advanced proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef), and CI/CD frameworks (Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Bamboo).
  • Proven leadership experience, including team mentorship, and the ability to drive complex technical projects.
  • Strong background in networking (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, Load Balancing) and security best practices.
  • Expert knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and their integration with large-scale infrastructure.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
  • DevOps Foundation Certification.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Leadership skills with a focus on mentorship and fostering team collaboration.
  • Deep knowledge of automation, CI/CD processes, and cloud infrastructure management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
