Project Role Description : Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Summary:
As a Performance Engineer, your day involves investigating and resolving complex performance issues that have not been identified by the internal performance testing team. You will engage deeply with various facets of performance engineering, including understanding the software development lifecycle and system architecture, validating performance through rigorous testing, planning for capacity needs, managing application performance, and swiftly detecting and addressing problems. Your role requires a comprehensive approach to ensure optimal system efficiency and reliability, collaborating across teams to maintain high standards of performance throughout the application lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify root causes of performance bottlenecks and implement effective resolutions.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align performance goals with business objectives.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their understanding of performance engineering principles and practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BRIM Subscription Order Management SOM.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and architecture principles related to performance engineering.
- Experience in performance testing methodologies and validation techniques.
- Ability to conduct capacity planning and forecast system resource requirements.
- Skilled in application performance management tools and problem detection strategies.
- Competence in analyzing complex system behaviors and implementing performance optimization solutions.

- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP BRIM Subscription Order Management SOM.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
