Define and maintain the overall functional architecture and configuration standards for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain modules.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective D365 Finance and Supply Chain solutions.
Configure and implement modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash and Bank Management, Fixed Assets, Inventory Management, Procurement, Sales, Warehouse Management, and Transportation Management.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end-users to deliver cohesive, end-to-end solutions.
Lead workshops, gather requirements, and document functional specifications.
Oversee data migration, testing, and user training activities.
Provide subject matter expertise during project delivery and post-go-live support.
Mentor and guide junior consultants and business users.
Evaluate and introduce new features, best practices, and process improvements as needed.
Champion process standardization, compliance, and clean configuration practices.
Strong understanding of General Ledger: chart of accounts, financial dimensions, and fiscal calendars.
Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP): vendor setup, invoice processing, payment journals, and vendor settlements.
Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR): customer invoicing, collections, and payment matching.
Experience with Cash and Bank Management: bank reconciliation, cash flow forecasting, and fund transfers.
Experience with Budgeting: configuring and managing budgets, forecasting, and control features.
Understanding of Inventory Valuation: financial impact of inventory movements and stock valuation.
Knowledge of Fixed Assets: asset creation, depreciation methods, and disposal processes.
Expertise in implementing and optimizing core supply chain modules: Inventory Management, Procurement, Sales, Warehouse Management, and Transportation Management.
5+ years of hands-on experience implementing or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or AX).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of Cost Management: costing methods, cost allocation, and freight cost tracking.
Ability to configure and manage Revenue Recognition for logistics contracts.
Experience with Project Accounting: managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and revenue recognition for logistics projects.
Familiarity with Transportation and Freight Costs: handling financial implications of shipping, transportation, and carrier contracts.
Exposure to Power Platform, integrations, and reporting tools within the D365 ecosystem.
Certification MB-310: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant is a plus.
Strong documentation, training, and stakeholder management abilities.
