As a Mechanical Forman at Eram Talent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the mechanical operations and maintenance activities in the assigned area.
You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the mechanical operations and maintenance activities in the assigned area.
Plan and schedule maintenance tasks, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and that work is completed on time.
Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance team, troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring proper repair and maintenance procedures are followed.
Monitor equipment performance and analyze maintenance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety inspections and promoting a culture of safety among the team.
Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and operations, to optimize maintenance strategies and minimize equipment downtime.
Prepare maintenance reports and documentation, including maintenance schedules, work orders, and equipment records.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical maintenance.
Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, managing a team of maintenance technicians.
Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment and systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and recommend effective solutions.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to mechanical maintenance.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Good computer skills, including proficiency in maintenance management software.
Must have worked in preventive and corrective maintenance (PM & CM) tasks Preference for candidates from industries like oil & gas, power plant, chemical, desalination, utilities, etc.
Must have working experience with: Pumps (centrifugal, gear, screw, etc.
) Fans, blowers, compressors Gearboxes, motors, and couplings How to dismantle, inspect, and assemble rotating equipment Bearing types, alignment procedures, lubrication methods Impeller types, wear rings, seals (mechanical/seal glands) Motor and pump alignment by (Dial gauge and laser tool Use measuring tools (feeler gauge, micrometre, vernier, dial gauge) Do coupling alignment (soft/hard foot check, shim adjustment) Interpret maintenance schedules, P&ID, and O&M manuals
