An Ideal Candidate:
A Relay Testing Engineer is responsible for testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of protection relays in substations, power plants, and industrial electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Key Competencies:
• Perform testing and commissioning of protection relays such as:
• Conduct secondary injection testing using relay test kits.
• Verify relay settings as per protection coordination study.
• Perform routine maintenance and periodic testing of relays.
• Troubleshoot relay malfunctions and protection system issues.
• Prepare test reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with commissioning and O&M teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
