Job description

As a Corporate Tax Manager for North America and APAC region, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax compliance, planning, and strategy for our operations in the region. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations while optimizing our tax position.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and review federal, state, and local tax filings for the company's North America and APAC entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the company's overall tax liability while maximizing cash flow and profitability.
  • Conduct research and analysis of complex tax issues, providing guidance and recommendations to senior management on tax implications of business decisions.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company, proactively advising on necessary adjustments to tax strategies.
  • Coordinate and oversee tax audits and inquiries, working with external auditors and tax authorities to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, and other departments to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business processes and transactions.
  • Manage relationships with external tax advisors, ensuring effective utilization of external resources and timely completion of tax projects.

Qualifications:


  • CA/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred. Accounting knowledge would be an added advantage
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate tax, with a focus on North America/APAC tax compliance and planning.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, particularly as they apply to multinational corporations.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex tax issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with tax software and ERP systems; proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
