General Summary:

With the advance of sensor technologies, QUALCOMM is looking for ambitious, bright, and innovative embedded software engineers who are interested in bringing the exciting sensors technology to the different verticals which are going to be. You will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and test of real time embedded Sensors software from High level Operating Systems (HLOS) perspective within a very dynamic group setting. You will also work with a cross-functional team of dedicated engineers to assist in the exciting effort of commercializing Sensors in various kinds of commercial devices. Minimum Qualifications:Excellent written and verbal skills are required, as is the ability to work with both internal teams and with other third parties and also ability to guide a team with a group of 5 to 8 engineers. 
Extensive experience in Object Oriented Software Principles, design and development of middleware framework for embedded platforms. 
Experience in Ubuntu and Debian environment would be plus.
Experience in Android Environment &/ Yocto Environment with end to end feature development and debugging.Preferred QualificationsBasic Qualifications: Required: 10+ years embedded software development with Programming launguages C , C++, Android Java in Android mobile environemet. 
Good to have experience in any open source development projects.
Systems design/debug Preferred: Debugging skills around Android / Yocto environmnet is needed. 
Education Requirements: Required: Bachelors/Master's in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Computer Science EngineeringKeywordsC, C++, Linux Operating System, Android Java, Yocto, Ubuntu, OOPS design Principles, Linux, Debugging, Linux Kernel, ZephyrEducational RequirementsB.E/B.Tech or M.E / M.Tech

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
