ey Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of aerostructures such as fuselage, wings, empennage, nacelles, pylons, doors, and secondary structures


  • Own end-to-end structural design activities from concept to production release


  • Develop and review 3D models, 2D drawings, layouts, and installation definitions


  • Ensure compliance with aerospace standards (FAA/EASA), customer specifications, and internal design practices


  • Perform and review trade studies, design optimization, and weight reduction initiatives


  • Coordinate with stress, materials, manufacturing, tooling, and quality teams


  • Lead and participate in design reviews (PDR, CDR, MRB, DRB)


  • Support change management activities such as ECN/ECR, concessions, and non-conformance resolution


  • Mentor junior engineers and review their technical deliverables


  • Interface with customers and suppliers for technical discussions and issue resolution


  • Ensure on-time delivery with high quality and adherence to project schedules


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering


  • 8–12+ years of experience in aerostructure design and development


  • Strong experience in metallic and/or composite aircraft structures


  • Hands-on expertise in CAD tools such as CATIA V5/V6, NX, or Creo


  • Strong knowledge of GD&T, materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly methods


  • Experience working with aerospace standards (ASME Y14, MIL-STD, FAA/EASA regulations)


  • Exposure to PLM tools (ENOVIA, Teamcenter, Windchill)


  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills


Preferred Skills
  • Experience in certification support and production sustainment


  • Knowledge of weight estimation, cost optimization, and DFM/DFA


  • Experience with global/offshore engineering teams


  • Customer-facing experience with OEMs such as Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, or Embraer
