Roles and Responsibilities

Informatica Administration
Lead installation, configuration, and administration of Informatica PowerCenter / BDM / IDMC (as applicable).
Manage Informatica domains, repositories, integration services, and nodes.
Handle environment setup, code deployments, and release management across Dev, QA, and Production.
Perform performance tuning of workflows, sessions, and mappings.
Lead upgrades, patching, migrations, and system scaling.
Monitor system health and resolve critical production issues.
Implement and audit security policies, roles, and user access controls.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning for Informatica environments.
UNIX / Linux Administration
Administer and maintain UNIX/Linux servers supporting Informatica platforms.
Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation, monitoring, and deployments.
Perform system performance tuning, resource monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Manage file systems, permissions, and process scheduling.
Support batch job execution and scheduling via cron or enterprise schedulers.
Analyze logs and debug system-level issues impacting Informatica performance.
Cross-Functional & Leadership Responsibilities
Act as a technical lead for Informatica platform support and administration.
Collaborate with ETL developers, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.
Drive automation and operational efficiency initiatives.
Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.
Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
