Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain solutions using IBM Content Manager aligned to enterprise content management requirements.
* Implement content models, document classes, metadata strategies, access controls, and retention concepts to meet business and compliance needs.
* Develop and enhance integrations between IBM Content Manager and upstream/downstream applications using appropriate APIs and connectors.
* Perform requirement analysis, prepare technical designs, and estimate development effort for ECM initiatives.
* Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes with minimal business disruption.
* Optimize system performance through tuning, indexing strategies, and efficient query/content retrieval patterns.
* Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.
* Collaborate with QA and business teams to define test scenarios, support UAT, and ensure high-quality releases.
* Support release management activities including build packaging, deployment coordination, and post-release validation.
Minimum Qualifications:
* B.Tech or equivalent bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* 5-9 years of overall experience with strong hands-on development experience in IBM Content Manager.
* Solid understanding of ECM concepts including content lifecycle, metadata, security, and governance.
* Experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and supporting enterprise applications in production environments.
* Strong communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience designing end-to-end ECM solutions including content modeling, integration patterns, and operational support processes.
* Exposure to IBM Content Manager administration concepts, environment configuration, and performance tuning practices.
* Experience working in Agile delivery models with strong ownership of sprint commitments and deliverables.
* Proven ability to lead technical discussions, review designs/code, and mentor team members on IBM Content Manager best practices.
* Familiarity with enterprise security practices (role-based access, auditing) and documentation standards for regulated environments.
