We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with 7+ years of experience to join the Data and Analytics Engineering (D&AE) operational effectiveness team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • This is a development role that will be utilizing Python for automation opportunities to remove any manual effort. This role also has a product support component for new code the candidate has implemented as well as for existing code. 
  • Perform root cause failure analysis for production system and provide short/long term resolution.
  • Work with business partners to resolve defects identified in a timely manner.
  • Understand the requirements and use cases provided.
  • Enable the self-healing capabilities to reduce the human interference, user impact and to increase the availability.
  • Partner with other teams and stake holders for any clarifications needed for the timely deliverables.
  • Experienced with agile methodology.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in the related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Developer and exposed to Distriburted Systems and Operational roles.
  • 7+ years of Datastage and SQL experiences.
  • 7+ years of relational database management systems like Oracle, and SQL server.
  • 5+ years of Python programing.
  • 5+ years of Databricks.
  • Experience with data pipeline deployment pipeline technologies like Jenkins, or GitHub
  • Experience with AWS services… IAM, EC2, S3, Cloud Watch, StepFunctions, Lambdas, MWAA, SQS, SNS, Glue, Athena etc.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools like GitHub, Jenkins etc.
  • Experience with MS Office suite & VBA along with good presentation skills.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace or Splunk etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • AWS certification is preferred.
