The CS & IMS Core Operations Expert will oversee CS Core Backoffice/Level 2 Operations, requiring hands-on expertise on IMS (CSCF, ATS,CCF,ENS), USCs, SS7/Diameter firewalls, MSCs, MGWs, SBCs, GMSCs and Fixed NGN platforms, preferably with Huawei equipment.
This role reports to the Manager of CS Core Planning and Operations and is part of a 12-member team.
What does Expert CS & IMS Core Operations do?
A highly skilled professional specializing in cloud-based Voice Core Network solutions, including P-CSCF, I-CSCF, ATS, CCF, ENS, MSCs, MGWs, USCs(SS7,diameter,SCP), and i-SBCs/A-SBCs.
Possesses extensive expertise across Operations & Maintenance (O&M), Configuration Management, Fault Management, Performance Optimization, Network Audits, and Health Checks, backed by deep product-level knowledge.
Proven ability to manage and optimize end-to-end CS & IMS Core network operations, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance for both consumer and enterprise services.
Experienced in administering and maintaining Huawei-based platforms, with strong capabilities in troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and rapid issue resolution through effective vendor coordination.
Plays a key role in enhancing Jazz’s Technology and Development framework by designing and implementing innovative, scalable solutions aligned with global best practices.
Demonstrates strong ownership of project execution, SLA compliance, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Well-versed in developing and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), preparing detailed reports, and authoring Method of Procedure (MOP) documents to ensure operational excellence, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
