Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) Specialist


Role Summary


The Integration specialist is an Integration designer and developer role. You will be a key member of the Solution Delivery team. You will participate in strategic project initiatives as a key designer/developer to gather requirements and develop the interfaces between SAP systems, Non-SAP systems, Cloud (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) and external partner systems. Design and develop the modern integrations using various message protocols, communication protocols and Integration tools


Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with project team members as a key stakeholder for Enterprise Application Integration
  • Design and develop interfaces as part of project deliverables following DuPont’s Enterprise Application Integration standards
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior integration developers who may be geographically dispersed
  • Design and develop API’s as part of API strategy
  • Design and develop various Integrations using standard and custom connectors within SAP PO and within the SAP Cloud Platform Integration iPaaS solution
  • Design and Develop the Integrations with S/4 HANA
  • Knowledge of standard SAP BAPI and IDOC objects as part of overall interface design
  • Design and develop A2A and B2B Integrations
  • Perform technical unit testing to ensure interfaces operate within functional specifications
  • Provide prospective projects with rough estimates of effort and duration based on high-level requirements
  • Provide knowledge transfer to service delivery teams as part for transition to operational support
  • Collaborate with the QA COE to define and document reusable QA-Testing standards, methodology and tools to support EAI solution delivery
  • Collaborates with Application and Business Process teams to integrate EAI Quality and Testing best practices in integrated solutions

Experience and Key Competencies


  • Must have 2 to 4 years of working experienced in SAP NetWeaver PO and SAP Cloud Platform Integration
  • Must have working experience with SAP Integrations
  • Excellent customer-facing communication skills
  • Experience with Agile concepts and methodologies
  • Ability to translate customer’s functional requirements into a technical solution
  • Integration Platform and tools – SAP NetWeaver Process Orchestration (PO), SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)
  • Experience with Cloud iPaaS platforms, custom API development and the ability to pick up new technical skills quickly
  • Experience in middleware and enterprise integration using various transformation mapping techniques such are Graphical, XSLT, Java, Groovy, etc.
  • Must have a working understanding of security and encryption standards such as, OAUTH, SSH, TLS, SSL, PGP, etc.
  • Experience with major connectors/adapters HTTP/S, SFTP, AS2, JMS, SOAP, REST, JDBC, ODBC, XI3.0, FTP/S, IDoC, RFC
  • Experience in EDI interface development
  • Ability to design, develop, document, and transition enterprise solutions utilizing design patterns, reference architectures, and best practices
  • Independent judgement and problem-solving skills to solve highly-complex integrations in a hybrid environment of on-premises, private cloud, public cloud, and external partner systems

Education


  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer science or engineering field
