The Lead – EHS – Site is responsible for end-to-end Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) implementation at a specific project site. The role ensures full compliance with statutory regulations, corporate policies, and safe work practices throughout the project lifecycle. The incumbent leads site-level risk identification, incident prevention, emergency response planning, and environmental protection initiatives. This role plays a key part in building a strong safety culture, monitoring contractor performance, and ensuring all activities are executed with zero harm as the central objective.
EHS Implementation at Site: Ensure end-to-end execution of all site-level EHS plans, procedures, and compliance obligations in line with corporate policies and legal requirements. ? Regulatory Compliance: Maintain all necessary permits, licenses, and documentation. Interface with statutory authorities during inspections and ensure zero non-compliances Risk Identification and Control: Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA), implement mitigation measures, and regularly review work areas for unsafe conditions.
? Incident Management: Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and closure of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting.
? Training and Awareness: Organize site-specific EHS inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees and contractors. Assess training effectiveness periodically.
