Deputy Manager PM/ ETM

The Deputy Manager PM/ETM Consultant is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting SAP Plant Maintenance (EAM) processes to ensure efficient and compliant asset management. The role focuses on enhancing equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and enabling seamless integration of maintenance operations with finance, procurement, and production systems.


Design and configure SAP PM solutions including functional locations, equipment, maintenance plans, task lists, notifications, and orders.


Lead end-to-end data migration activities including mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation of PM data.


Ensure seamless integration with MM, FI/CO, PP, QM, PS, and EHS modules.


Deliver project lifecycle phases including design, build, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover, and hypercare support.


Develop and execute test scripts, manage defect resolution, and ensure quality assurance standards.


Maintain governance through documentation, transport management, and compliance with audit and safety requirements.


Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including maintenance, operations, finance, and external vendors.


Drive continuous improvement through automation, analytics, and adoption of S/4HANA EAM capabilities.


Provide training, knowledge transfer, and mentorship to junior team members and end users.


Skills Required

SAP PM/EAM configuration: notifications, orders, task lists, maintenance plans/strategies, measuring points/counters, permits/WCM, refurbishment, calibration (QM), services/spares, confirmations, settlement.


Data Migration: Migrate Your Data (S/4), LTMC/LSMW, BAPIs/IDocs; mapping and reconciliations for PM master/transactional data.


Methodology/ALM: SAP Activate, SolMan/ALM, ChaRM/CTS+, test management & defect triage.


RICEFW: Strong functional specs; collaboration on user-exits/BADIs/enhancements.


Security/Controls: Basic PFCG roles, SoD, audit controls for maintenance processes.


Reporting: EAM Fiori, selection variants, and KPI tracking (plan adherence, backlog, MTBF/MTTR).


Eligibility Criteria


Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), Information Systems, or a related field and SAP PM/EAM certification is preferred.


Experience: 7+ years of experience as an SAP PM/EAM Functional Consultant. At least two full lifecycle SAP implementations or migrations (ECC to S/4HANA or similar) and strong experience in PM configuration, data migration, and cross-module integration (MM, FI/CO, PP, QM, PS, EHS).


Certifications (preferred) - SAP S/4HANA (PS/Project Control or related) or equivalent vendor certifications.
