We are seeking a skilled Datacenter Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support mission-critical datacenter infrastructure.
The role focuses on ensuring high availability, performance, and security of enterprise systems, networks, and hardware within the datacenter environment.
Employment Type: Full-time employment Responsibilities Manage and support day-to-day datacenter operations, ensuring uptime and reliability of infrastructure services.
Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and network devices within the datacenter.
Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability; proactively resolve issues and bottlenecks.
Support network infrastructure including routing, switching, and firewall configurations in collaboration with network teams.
Perform hardware troubleshooting, replacement, and lifecycle management of datacenter equipment.
Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
Ensure adherence to IT security policies, standards, and best practices within the datacenter environment.
Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure, configurations, and operational procedures.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware/software support and maintenance.
Participate in on-call rotations and handle critical incidents as required.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
3–5+ years of relevant experience in datacenter or enterprise infrastructure environments.
Hands-on experience with enterprise networking and infrastructure technologies.
Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.
CCNP certification required; CCIE certification is a strong advantage.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in critical situations.
Strong ownership and accountability.
Preferred Skills Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.
). Familiarity with storage systems (SAN/NAS) and backup solutions.
Understanding of Linux/Windows server environments.
Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure in high-availability environments.
