Roles and Responsibilities

* Lead end-to-end Data Warehouse Testing (DWT) initiatives across multiple projects, ensuring high data quality and integrity.
* Design, plan, and execute test strategies and test plans for data warehouse and ETL components based on business and technical requirements.
* Validate data mapping, data transformations, aggregations, and data movement from source to staging, DWH, and downstream systems.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test data sets for DWT and ETL testing.
* Perform functional, regression, system integration, and user acceptance support testing for data warehouse solutions.
* Analyze complex SQL queries and datasets to identify data discrepancies, defects, and root causes.
* Collaborate with ETL developers, data modelers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and resolve defects efficiently.
* Establish and enforce quality standards, best practices, and processes for data testing within the team.
* Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior testers, guiding them on DWT and ETL testing techniques and tools.
* Prepare clear test reports, defect metrics, and quality dashboards for stakeholders and project leadership.
* Participate in design and code review discussions from a quality perspective, highlighting potential data quality risks.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely test execution and alignment with project timelines and release plans.
* Position will be based on business requirements across locations.
