Position Title: Corporate Accounting Supervisor Job Type: Onsite (Lahore/Islamabad) Timing: US Time Zone (EST) Job Purpose This role is responsible for executing month-end close activities in close partnership with the Corporate Accounting team while identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness across accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including approval of journal entries, preparation and maintenance of account reconciliations, and balance sheet analysis.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses for management, as required.
Collaborate with the Accounting VP, Director, and Manager to develop and implement process improvements aimed at streamlining close schedules and increasing operational efficiency.
Support inventory automation initiatives by working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.
Proactively identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to improve accounting workflows and controls.
Assist external auditors by preparing documentation, schedules, and responses to audit requests.
Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
5-6 years of accounting experience, with some exposure to public accounting (preferred).
Minimum 3-4 years of public accounting experience or a combination of 3-4 years across public accounting and industry roles.
Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Experience with NetSuite and/or other ERP systems.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
